After weeks of delay, Universal Music will finally release the definitive collection of Singapore indie rock’n'roll. As we have reported previously, the compilation will feature the top indie acts from the 80’s to this millenium. They have kindly sent us the final track listing and pictures of how this puppy will look like.
+65 Singapore Underground is a massive 3-CD collection and just in time to make it for your Christmas shopping. What better way would there be but to celebrate the end of a crappy year by inducting your friends to the pioneering sounds of Zircon Lounge and Stompin’ Ground, the balls-out rock of Force Vomit and Electrico and the art-rock of B-Quartet and Lunarin (which coincidentally are on our label. Heh.)
There will also be 2 sheets of sticker to be found in the booklet which will allow you to customise your own cover. 
Universal Music is considering running a cover design contest where interested parties can posted their designs on the page. As stated in the email, Marketing director, Lim Teck Kheng says, “This is also to engage the music fans involved as part of the scene…. Still retaining the DIY spirit of how the scene started.” There might be a photo exhibition to showcase the pictures taken of the movement over the years.

Hi there, I’d like to highlight to Postbox fans that this version of Miss Sunshine was specially re-remixed for this compilation as a 2009 version as compared to the exact one on their myspace (2008) =) great release!!
Hi. “Zoe Tay” is from the Revolution 69 EP as well as the BigO Singles Club No. 5 (both came out circa 1998 – anyone know which one first?), and not Banned in Da Singapura — although, yes, the song appears on the BigO Records reissue of Banned (credited to the Boredpucks) as one of three bonus tracks.
Revolution 69 EP came out first.
The compilation will be out next week. Delays yet again.
